Sunnis, the Salaf, and Supreme Sexual Deviance

We often find members of ASWJ highly critical of practices like temporary marriage - a practice instilled within the religion of Islam in order to eradicate the evils of fornication and adultery. (See Article on Umar banning Mut’ah and blamed by Ali for the resulting evil of widespread fornication)

We the Shia hold the same position as Imam Ali (as). That Mut’ah (as legalized in Quran verse 4:24 and explained by both Sunni and Shi’i exegetes) is God’s ONLY divine avenue to avoid haram sexual acts such as fornication.

The Quran (23:5-6) also outlines what consists of legal sexual acts. ONLY sexual relations with ones wife or captive/slave (this of course would include temporary marriage):

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts)
Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame;

Shortly after in verse (23:7) Allah (azwj) mentions:

But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors;

Elsewhere in (40:43) Allah (azwj) mentions that those who are transgressors will be in the hellfire!

and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

It is clear that ANY sexual act beyond lawful intercourse with a spouse is an evil act of transgression. But what about in the case of extreme difficulty and sexual urge? In the Shia worldview that is where Mut’ah is especially handy - as agreed to by certain Sunni scholars and was allegedly the viewpoint of Ibn Abbas as mentioned in Sunni sources.

Well, this hardheaded rejection of temporary marriage by the Sunnis has led them to release disgustingly deviant fatwas regarding the permissibility of masturbation in times of difficult sexual urges. Whats worse is they attest that these views were held by pious scholars like Imam Ahmad (bin Hanbal) as well as many of the COMPANIONS of the prophet! See the following:




Ibn Qayyīm al-Jawzīyya (the most famous student of ‘Sheikh-Ul-Islam’ Ibn Taymiyyah) said:

If lust takes hold of someone like a prisoner, traveler, or poor person and he fears he will fall into difficulty, he is allowed to masturbate. Ahmad said this and the companions masturbated during battles and travels. If there is a woman who does not have a husband, and her lust increases, some of our jurists said that she can use al-akarnabaj, and it is something that is produced from the skin which is in the form of a penis (i.e. a dildo), so that she inserts it into her vagina—or something else that looks like this, like cucumber, or small pumpkins, etc. And it is correct in my view that this isn’t permissible [...]
And if he [a man] peeled a watermelon, dough, leather, or an idol, and inserted in it, then [do it] by what we have provided in detail. I said: And it’s easier than masturbation with one’s hands.

[Badāʾiʿ al-Fawāʾid, vol. 1, pp. 1471-1472].

Is this not completely reprehensible? To summarize the above:

• The companions masturbated (with their hands)
• The women masturbated with dildos of leather and fruits and vegetables
• The jurists ruled that a man can fornicate with foods
• The man can penetrate IDOLS? (Theres a joke to be made here...)

Funny enough on the topic of having sex with Pagan Gods/idols, Abu Bakr in Sahih Al Bukhari actually instructed someone to go have oral sex with one...

Abu Bakr, whist angered at a polytheist says: 

suck the clitoris of al-Laat (Pagan Goddess)

This is so embarrassing and uncharacteristic of the manners of a true muslim that the english translators of the book had no choice but to censor the wording! Instead in the english wording in part of a long tradition on Sunnah.com reads: 

...Hearing that, Abu Bakr abused him

And whats even more hilarious is the women who were permitted to use food as dildos are actually forbidden by a certain clerics fatwa from even coming CLOSE to phallic-shaped foods for danger of temptation!?
