Mu'awiyah curses Allah and is in Hell!

The Messenger of Allah equated hatred for Ali with hatred of Allah. Reviling and cursing Allah is considered the greatest blasphemy and kufr by all Muslims. See how Sunni scholars admit that despite this warning from the Prophet (saws), Muawiya cursed Ali (as) and ordered others to curse him.

From Umm Salama: The Prophet (saws) said: Whoever reviles/curses Ali, has reviled/cursed me, and whoever reviles/curses me, has reviled/cursed Allah."

Grading:

Al Hakim said: Sahih.

Al Dahabi said: Thiqat.

Al Haythami said: Rijal Ahmad, Sahih, except Abi Abdullah Al-Khadali, but he is also trustworthy.

Narrated Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas: Mu'awiyah arrived (in Madinah) during one of his Hajjs and Sa'd (his governor over Madinah) came to him. They mentioned Alee (a.s) and MU'AWIYAH CURSED HIM. Footnote: Its chain is Qawi (Strong).

Narrated Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas: Mu'awiyah arrived (in Madinah) during one of his Hajjs (during his Khilafah), and he entered upon Sa'd (his governor over Madinah). Then they mentioned Alee (a.s) and he (Mu'awiyah) cursed him. Al-Albani: It is Saheeh (Authentic).

Lastly, the fate of one who bears enmity towards the Ahlulbayt is made clear in an authentic tradition; it leads to the hellfire!

On the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who said: The Prophet (s) said: “By the One who possesses my soul, no man will bear enmity towards us, the Ahl al-Bayt, except that Allah will make him enter the Fire (of hell).”

Its chain of narration (isnad) is Sahih according to the author Ibn Hibban, and is Hasan (good), according to the editor Shu’ayb al-Arna’ut.
